Exertional angina

The use of EHF therapy in ischemic heart disease is due to the impact on such links in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis as disorders in the hemostasis system, microcirculation, lipoperoxidation and the immune system.

Indications

Mono EHF therapy is indicated for angina of functional class 1-2. For angina of 3-4 functional classes, it is used in combination with medication therapy.

Used HF emitters

  1. Frequency 40-43 GHz, wavelength 7.1 mm (red).
  2. Frequency 52-57 GHz, wavelength 5.6 (green).
  3. Frequency 57 — 63 GHz, the wavelength is 4.9 (blue).
  4. Noise — frequency of 52 to 78 GHz (yellow).

In continuous and fractional modes. The frequency of exposure is selected individually.

Treatment regimen

10-15 sessions of 15-20 min.

Localization

Impact ZONE: the fifth intercostal space along the midclavicular line.

Clinical effect and control

The use of EHF therapy is accompanied by a decrease in the frequency and duration of angina attacks, stabilization of blood pressure, and a reduction in the dose of antianginal drugs. The control is performed according to the indicators of hemodynamics, ECG studies, and Bicycle ergometry.

Contraindications

There are no absolute contraindications (see General contraindications for EHF therapy).
