CHRONIC BRONCHITIS

The effectiveness of EHF therapy in bronchitis is due to the anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, analgesic, improving local blood circulation effect of EHF waves.

Indications

Monotherapy is used in the treatment of chronic bronchitis outside of exacerbation and in the phase of subsiding exacerbation. In the acute phase of chronic bronchitis, EHF waves are combined with medication.

Used HF emitters

  1. Frequency 52-57 GHz, wave length 5.6 mm (green).
  2. Frequency 57-63 GHz, wavelength 4.9 (blue).
  3. Noise-frequency 52-78 GHz (yellow).

Emitters are selected individually for each patient.

Treatment regimen

8-15 sessions of 10-20 min. During the session, only the zone is irradiated; in severe conditions, the irradiation of the point and zone is combined for 15 minutes.

Localization

Acupuncture POINT: Gi4
Impact ZONE: middle of the sternum.

Clinical effect and control

General well-being improves, and immunological indicators normalize faster than with medication. Control of the effectiveness of treatment is determined by the data of clinical examination, General blood analysis (leukocyte formula), radiography and immunological tests.

Contraindications

Absolute contraindications have not been identified (see General contra-indications for EHF-therapy).
